Week 10
This is the last week of the course and I'm missing the readings and checking websites already. As I told my colleagues it was hard work but I learned lots of new things. Online tools were very useful to apply them in class: webquests were my favourite. I also liked rubrics and online exercises to print or not. Also the learning styles week was very productive. What I missed was some lessons about CLIL to exchange opinions and experiences about it.I'm presently teaching Arts and Crafts in English to my 5th grade students. I just talked about CLIL with Jurgita who is also teaching a CLIL class and we think it's a very interesting way to learn a foreign language.
What I think about the course is that it has been very practical and I applied many online tools and plan to add more to my classes. I hope that when the school year finishes in three weeks I'll be able to review websites and readings from Robert's course to keep learning more and organising ideas.
Sometimes I think it's a pity that we couldn't meet to continue exchanging ideas and good practice with our course mates. But of course we are from all over the world !!!
Hi Mariaang,
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone. I feel the same. However, do not feel sad because we will be always in touch and share our experience.

Hi Angles
ReplyDeleteYou have confirmed the milestones of the course. At last we are almost near the goal. But the journey continues and will continue in future. As for the course I am leaving it with a satisfaction in mind but like you my heart is also heavy as the time of saying good bye is approaching. Let's join the 'Google group' by Said Husain and keep in touch.
regards
kayyum
See you in the group !!

Hi Angles,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the past ten weeks were hard but exactly they were beneficial and we could touch the blossom of victory. I think as Kayyum said , it is the most really hard to say good bye. The team and the instructor are unforgettable and as an Arabic proverb stated that " this who taught me a character, I became his slave".
